Week #5 The CP violation

The CP Violation:

The neutral kaon seems to be a misbehaving particle, in that its behavior has no connection with the arrows of time. It is studied in uranium, for example, where its decay is "independent of time's direction". It seems that the neutral kaon in its "unkown" can be held accoutable for making what the universe is today. This makes me think of Darwin's evolution when he explains natural selection. It says that the most fit will survive, but what really happens to become the most fit it mistakes, or abnormal behaviors, called "mutaions". These mutations have resulted in the success of most species to adapt to their environments. So the misbehaving of the neutral kaon can be compared to a mutation, which makes the universe what it is.

When you said mutaions it made me think about how in medicine there are so many misbehaving diseases. If we think about why people get better when the doctors say they are not supposed to get better it makes me think that there are things like "CP violations" happening all the time in the universe.
